Training with an emphasis on the horse-human connection
Certified in Iceland with a Bs.C. in Training and Ridden Instruction from Hólar University in Iceland I run my own training stable at our farm in Denmark. Besides training horses I offer lessons and clinics. I host clinics here at home as well as traveling to teach nationally and internationally.
My passion for the Icelandic horse started when I was 7 years old and began with a interest in furthering my own horsemanship goals. But today my passion is just as much about helping other riders gain a better understanding for their horse and horses in general.
My mission is to help riders create a good connection and working partnership with their horse. Effective and positive communication is the foundation for fun and productive training, which helps build a happy, strong and long lasting horse.

Training
I offer training for horses at all levels, including starting young horses under saddle, tölt training/gait training, and training horses towards breeding assessments. Each horse will be trained individually at it’s own pace.

In 2021 I was awarded as best Instructor/trainer in Denmark and represented the Danish Icelandichorse Association in the award for the Intructor/Trainer of the Year 2021 given by FEIF.
Hólar Educated
In 2013 I finished my studies at Hólar University with a Bachelor of Science and am thereby a certified FT trainer and instructor (FEIF level 3 instructor).
In total, I lived, studied, and worked in Iceland for 9 years. During those years I worked for some of Iceland’s most famous riders such as Sigurður Sigurðarson, Lena Zielenski, Sylvía Sigurbjörnsdóttir and Árni Björn Palsson. In addition, I worked at several well known breeding farms such as Björg 1, Narfastaðir, Þjórsárbakki and Hárlaugsstaðir.
For 4 years I ran my own training station where I showed horses for clients in breeding shows and competitions (both sport and Gæðingakeppni). I participated in the Icelandic championships several times, Landsmót, and the Western and Southern League Competitions. This gave me extensive experience competing and showing horses.
Since 2019 I have been living and working in Denmark. Finally in October of 2023 I started offering services out of our own facilities at Røverhøjvej near Viborg.
